Casa Fin Family Stories: Alessandro Fin - the jingle of the coins......

Sandronow onto a story...i guess the one that stands out the most is the time most of us were at choorch in marrickville one sunday...the collection was coming around and dad had given me 50 cents to put in the bag and me being the ultra smart 10 year old or so thought it would be a great idea to fool him and try to keep it for myself...i was there just thinking of all the great things at the local corner shop i could buy with this newly acquired fortune....and back then it was alot....so as the bag came around i put my hand in as to put the money in but kept it in my hand...the guy walked away and i thought i was home and hosed...but no...dad then asked me if i had put the money in...i guess he didnt hear the jingle of the coins....damn didnt think of that...so i said yes...then he asked me to open my hands which in turn got me caught red handed...man i reckon if i was in any other place i would have copped it big time but ironically i tanks gods i was in a choorch...he told me to(now in dads accent)...you get down on your knees and pray for gods forgiveness....only god knows what i was thinking while i was on my knees...guess i learnt quick that it takes alot to out smart the old mang..
